Who will have the final say in Mauricio Pochettino’s future at Chelsea, it’s not Todd Boehly

Reports have now shared who will have an input in whether Mauricio Pochettino remains at Chelsea as the manager.

According to the Evening Standard, the final decision will not be down to Todd Boehly, with a decision more likely to come at the end of the season.

Pochettino is under serious pressure right now, and the devastating 5-0 defeat to Arsenal on Tuesday night will not have done him any favours when it comes to winning over his biggest critics.

    Pochettino under pressure
Some supporters in fact struggled to get on board from the start, with his links to Tottenham hard for them to look past.

It has been exclusively predicted to The Chelsea Chronicle that he will be replaced at the end of the season, and those in charge will be on the hunt for another manager to replace him.

Boehly does not get a say in Pochettino sacking
A decision has to be made by those in charge, however it has now been reported that move will not actually come down to chairman Todd Boehly.

Frequently referred to when discussing the ownership situation at Stamford Bridge, this season has ultimately proven that he does not seem to have as much say in things as is reported.

Instead, it is co-owner Behdad Eghbali who is frequently actually claimed to make the big calls at the club, and it has now been claimed he is one of three men who will get the final say on Pochettino.

The report went on to say that sporting directors Paul Winstanley and Laurence Stewart will also have a say on whether they look for yet another permanent manager this summer.

If they are looking to move on, it has been claimed that they are intrigued in the prospect of bringing in Ruben Amorim from Sporting Lisbon.

While a number of big clubs will be keen to bring in the young boss, the Blues are one of those who will be hoping their project appeals to him enough to see him make the move.
