Antoine Griezmann suggests Liverpool have an attacker who’s even better than Phil Foden at Man City

Taking part in a TikTok challenge for Match Attax, Griezmann has been blind ranking 10 of the best players on the planet, and he made some interesting claims within this video.

Griezmann understandably put Kylian Mbappe as the number one player on his list, while he also ranked Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah quite highly.

Indeed, Griezmann actually put Salah ahead of Phil Foden in his list, suggesting that the £34m Liverpool star is actually better than the Manchester City ace.

Griezmann put Salah fifth in his list of 10 players, while Foden slotted into the seventh-placed slot.

Interestingly, another Liverpool legend ranked ahead of Salah in Griezmann’s list, with Steven Gerrard placing in third just behind Kylian Mbappe and Cristiano Ronaldo.

Griezmann has played against both players at international and club level over the years, and he believes Salah is just slightly better than Foden.

Interestingly, Antoine Griezmann isn’t the only player to make this comparison.

Indeed, Frank Lampard has also claimed that Salah is better than Foden, ranking the Liverpool ace ahead of the Man City star when ranking the best Premier League wingers.

“Mohamed Salah should be number one for what he’s achieved over the past few years. Mohamed Salah should be one, this is on camera, Mo, Mo Salah should be one for what he has achieved over the past seven years,” Lampard said.
