Browns GM Andrew Berry started his bye week press conference by stating questions about the future of the roster were more appropriate for after the season. He can push those questions back publicly, but the reality of the situation is Berry’s team is barreling towards transition after this disappointing season concludes and that’s the real focus the rest of this year.
Even if the Browns can rally for a strong finish, that sort of momentum rarely carries over year-to-year. Berry himself has even talked about viewing each season as its own separate entity.
