Olympic champion Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone required a third date to know that Andre Levrone was chasing him.
Olympic 400m hurdles champion Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone recently reflected on her first time interaction with husband Andre Levrone before the pair started dating in 2020.
The four-time Olympic champion Levrone and the former NFL player got engaged in August 2021. The couple exchanged their wedding vows in May 2022 at Early Mountain Vineyards in Madison, Virginia.
a recent interview with Life, Books and Everything with DeYoung, the couple made an appearance and reflected on the multiple-time Olympian’s first reaction during their initial interactions. “I was going through his pictures and just you know some of his videos and captions of sharing the gospel on his page and I think that’s definitely what caught my attention more than anything else and so I was like hmm interesting I think I’ll see where this goes,” McLaughlin-Levrone said.
Andre sprinted his way into McLaughlin’s heart under hilarious circumstances. The pair shared a mutual friend, they did not interact until Andre slid into her DMs.
It took until the third date for McLaughlin to understand the brewing bromance. However, Andre was surprised when McLaughlin-Levrone stated she wasn’t acquainted.
