Georgia Bulldogs’ Daylen Everette and Christen Miller Undergo Offseason Surgeries, Expected to Make Full Recoveries

As the Georgia Bulldogs prepare for the upcoming spring ball, the team will be without two key players, cornerback Daylen Everette and defensive lineman Christen Miller, who recently underwent offseason surgeries. According to reports, both starters are expected to make full recoveries well before the 2025 college football season kicks off.

Everette, who started every game for the Bulldogs in 2024, underwent surgery to repair a sports hernia, a groin injury that has been bothering him. The exact timing of when Everette developed this injury is unclear, but it is evident that he has been dealing with the issue for some time.

Miller, on the other hand, had surgery to repair a damaged shoulder labrum, an injury he sustained during Georgia’s win over UMass on November 23rd. Miller missed the Bulldogs’ next two games before returning for their College Football Playoff loss to Notre Dame.

Both players are expected to be limited participants in drills or held out entirely when the Bulldogs start spring practice in March. However, sources close to the team indicate that both Everette and Miller are expected to make full recoveries and be ready for the start of the 2025 season.

The Bulldogs’ medical staff will be closely monitoring the progress of both players, ensuring that they receive the necessary treatment and rehabilitation to return to full strength. With a strong support system in place, both Everette and Miller are expected to bounce back from their respective injuries and be key contributors to the team’s success in the upcoming season.

The news of Everette and Miller’s surgeries serves as a reminder of the physical demands of college football and the importance of proper medical care and rehabilitation. The Bulldogs’ commitment to providing their players with top-notch medical support is a testament to the team’s dedication to the well-being and success of their student-athletes.

As the Bulldogs prepare for the start of spring practice, the team will be focused on developing their skills and building on their strengths. With Everette and Miller expected to make full recoveries, the Bulldogs will be eager to see their two key players return to action and contribute to the team’s success in the upcoming season.
