    While training and nutrition are crucial components of Shiffrin’s fitness regimen, recovery is equally essential. Adequate rest and recovery allow her body to repair and adapt to the physical demands of skiing.

    “I prioritize getting enough sleep, usually 8-10 hours per night,” Shiffrin says. “I also make time for stretching, foam rolling, and self-myofascial release to help my body recover from intense training sessions.”
