Mikaela Shiffrin, the renowned Alpine skiing star, has been focusing on her giant slalom skills during a recent training block in Colorado. After struggling with injuries and PTSD, Shiffrin shared encouraging progress, stating that with time and practice, she’s starting to feel improvements and believes she can get faster.

In a heartwarming moment, Shiffrin was spotted cheering on her brother, Taylor, at a cross-country mountain bike race in Vail, Colorado. Taylor completed an 11km loop in under 2 hours and 20 minutes, and Shiffrin waited at the finish line to support him.

Shiffrin’s training block was productive, and she’s now preparing for her 16th World Cup season, which is set to begin on October 25 in Sölden, Austria. The double Olympic champion has been working hard to regain her form, especially in giant slalom, a discipline she’s been struggling with due to injuries.

Shiffrin’s journey is a testament to her dedication and perseverance. Despite facing setbacks, she’s remained committed to her sport and is now seeing positive results from her hard work. Her progress is exciting news for fans and fellow athletes alike.

In an interview, Shiffrin also shared her admiration for Taylor Swift and discussed her future plans with her fiancé, Alexander Aamodt Kilde. As she looks ahead to the new season, Shiffrin’s focus will be on continuing to improve and push herself to new heights.

With her sights set on success, Shiffrin is poised to make a strong impact in the upcoming World Cup season. Her determination and passion for skiing are an inspiration to many, and fans will be eagerly following her progress as she takes on new challenges.
