Mikaela Shiffrin and Aleksander Aamodt Kilde have made their priorities crystal clear: podiums before parenthood.
In the launch episode of Shiffrin’s new podcast, the World Cup record-holder welcomed fiancé Kilde as her first guest. When the subject of children surfaced, Shiffrin conceded the allure with a smile—“Trust me, that’s very enticing”—before declaring, “but we’re not done here.” Kilde, nodding in agreement, added, “We’re not done here, for sure not done.”
The candid moment highlights the couple’s unwavering dedication to their athletic careers amid growing speculation about the next chapter of their lives.
Shiffrin also lauded teammate Breezy Johnson, with whom she captured World Championship gold in the women’s team combined, and voiced excitement for another shot at team glory at the 2026 Olympic Winter Games in Milano Cortina.
The podcast will roll out eight to ten episodes over the season, each tackling themes of resilience, legacy, and purpose.
