Breaking news for ski fans: Mikaela Shiffrin’s next race is officially the women’s slalom in Levi, Finland, kicking off this weekend on November 15-16! After a strong start to the Olympic season in SΓΆlden, the 30-year-old American is back in her happy place β the slalom gates where she’s won more races than anyone in history.
Levi marks the first technical event of the season, and Shiffrin is primed for dominance. She’s fresh off a training block and relishing the “hammer time” schedule ahead of the 2026 Milano Cortina Olympics. With 101 wins total, this could push her closer to even more milestones.
The Levi Black course is ready despite early snow challenges β FIS gave it the green light after positive snow control. Expect fierce competition from Swiss stars like Wendy Holdener and rising talents, but Shiffrin’s track record here (seven wins!) speaks volumes.
Race Schedule:
Women’s Slalom Run 1: Saturday, Nov 15, 10:00 CET
Run 2: 13:00 CET
Men’s Slalom: Sunday
