All hail the Queen! Mikaela Shiffrin, holder of 101 World Cup wins and eight slalom Crystal Globes, returns to Levi this weekend aiming for her eighth victory on the famous Finnish slope. The “Queen of Slalom” has owned Levi since 2013, and 2025 could add another crown – plus a reindeer – to her collection.
Shiffrin’s love for Levi is real: “I am going to miss those battles,” she said of past rivalries, but with Vlhová sidelined, the path looks clear. Her recent podcast “What’s the Point” even highlights her passion for the sport amid a packed pre-Olympic schedule.
