With 101 World Cup victories already under her belt, the American superstar is chasing win number 102 – and potentially her eighth reindeer prize – at the iconic Levi Black slope this Saturday and Sunday (November 15-16).
Shiffrin kicked off the 2025-26 season with a solid fourth-place finish in the giant slalom at Sölden, calling it a “huge step forward” in her GS game. But Levi is where she truly shines: she’s won here a record seven times, dominating the technical turns on this icy Finnish piste.
Why the hype? Shiffrin’s slalom prowess is unmatched – 64 career slalom wins – and her main rival, Petra Vlhová, is still recovering from injury. Competitors like Germany’s Lena Dürr and Austria’s Katharina Liensberger will push hard, but Shiffrin enters as the heavy favorite.
