    The Wuhan Open has reached its penultimate stage, with Aryna Sabalenka and Coco Gauff emerging as the top contenders for the title. Both players delivered impressive straight-set victories in the quarterfinals, setting the stage for a thrilling semifinal showdown.

    SABALENKA DISPATCHES KOSTYUK IN 64 MINUTES

    Second-seeded Aryna Sabalenka continued her dominant run in Wuhan, dispatching Marta Kostyuk 6-3, 6-3 in just 64 minutes. The Belarusian’s powerful serve and precise groundstrokes proved too much for the Ukrainian.

    “I’m feeling great, and my game is clicking,” Sabalenka said in her post-match interview. “I’m looking forward to the semifinals and the challenge that Coco will bring.”

    GAUFF OVERWHELMS SAMSONOVA

    Coco Gauff, the 19-year-old American sensation, produced a stunning performance to defeat Liudmila Samsonova 6-1, 6-2. Gauff’s aggressive play and exceptional movement left Samsonova struggling to find her rhythm.

    “I’m really happy with my level of play today,” Gauff said. “Aryna will be a tough opponent, but I’m excited for the challenge.”
