Chelsea youngster Estevao Willian has continued to establish himself as one of the most promising young players in world football.

The Blues beat PSG to the Estavao’s signature, and he seems to put in a statement performance every week for Palmeiras at the moment.

His latest outing was truly memorable. Estevao broke Neymar’s record for most goal involvements in a single season in Brazilian football.

The former Barcelona and PSG man had held the record for over a decade from his time at Santos, and Estevao has already been tipped to reach the levels he did in the prime of his career.

Neymar congratulates Chelsea youngster Estevao Willian
Neymar took to his personal Instagram story to send congratulations to the youngster, whilst also tipping him to continue wowing people with his brand of football.

He said: “Congratulations Estêvão Willian for breaking the record!. I hope you continue shining & enchanting people with your football.”

If there is one concern Chelsea may have about the youngster at this stage, it is that Estevao has already suffered from a number of injuries in the early years of his career.

Given the magnitude of games they play in Brazil’s Serie A, there will already be worries that he is being overused at an early stage of his career.
