In a testament to their outstanding performance, three South Carolina women’s basketball stars have been named to the SEC All-Tournament team. Forward Chloe Kitts, senior post player Sania Feagin, and point guard Raven Johnson earned this prestigious recognition, following the Gamecocks’ impressive sweep of the SEC regular season and tournament titles.
Kitts, who was also named SEC Tournament MVP, demonstrated exceptional skill and versatility throughout the tournament. Her impressive statistics, including 16.7 points and 7.7 rebounds per game, were complemented by her ability to make tough shots, create for her teammates, and showcase her all-around talent.
Feagin, a dominant force in the paint, earned her spot on the All-Tournament team with her efficient scoring, rebounding, and shot-altering prowess. Her ability to provide additional spacing with her mid-range jumpers, including a crucial 3-pointer against Texas, was a key factor in the Gamecocks’ success.
Johnson, the Gamecocks’ dynamic point guard, rounded out the trio with her exceptional playmaking, scoring, and defensive skills. Her ability to control the tempo, create for her teammates, and make clutch plays was instrumental in South Carolina’s championship run.
The Gamecocks’ SEC Tournament title, their third in as many years, was a testament to the team’s depth, talent, and dedication. With Kitts, Feagin, and Johnson leading the charge, South Carolina remains a dominant force in women’s college basketball.
