In her first major TV interview since the devastating crash at the 2026 Milano Cortina Winter Olympics, Vonn told TODAY’s Craig Melvin:
“I never got a final run. I never got to say goodbye… and that haunts me.”
The crash came just seconds into her Olympic downhill run. Vonn, who had torn her ACL in practice days earlier but still competed, hooked a gate and suffered a brutal fracture to her left leg.
