Gary Neville has hit out at Jamie Carragher after Jurgen Klopp decided to leave Liverpool.Klopp announced his surprise decision to step down as Liverpool manager on Friday (26 January) after nine years in charge. The German revealed he was “tired” after almost a decade of intense competition at the top level.

“When opposing teams celebrate a move, it shows how respected and feared the coach is.”He added: “Klopp transformed lives and recreated the nights of European glory synonymous with Anfield. The rest of the season will be very exciting.“Rather than an immediate collapse, my intuition is that the team and the club will pursue their goals in a wave of enthusiasm.
