The israeli army killed at least 350 palestinians in khan younis in the southern gaza strip on sunday, according to a statement issued by the hamas-run gaza government. According to the statement, medical teams were unable to reach hundreds of bodies scattered on the streets, and locals were compelled to bury the bodies in the nasser hospital courtyard because they could not take them to the khan younis cemetery.
Meanwhile, the hamas-run health ministry reported sunday that nasser hospital has been overflowing with medical supplies as a result of an israeli army blockade, citing the fact that at least 7,000 people have been wounded and sick in the enclave. In a statement, the palestine red crescent society warned about the depletion of oxygen supply at al-amal hospital in khan younis, which has made it difficult for medical staff at the hospital to perform surgical operations.
According to the hamas-run health ministry, the months-long deadly conflict between israel and hamas has resulted in a palestinian death toll of 26,422 in gaza, with the number of injuries increasing to 65,087.
