Liverpool’s player is back on Galatasaray’s agenda for the summer window.
This according to Fotomaç, who state the Turkish club are keen on signing the 21-year-old.
Liverpool invested €40m to sign the midfielder from Bayern Munich last summer, and prior to that, the Istanbul club had made a loan offer with a €25m purchase option.
They want to strengthen midfield in the next transfer window and their manager, Okan Buruk, identified the Netherlands international as a target.
Fotomaç state Galatasaray are preparing to make contact with his camp again, after a failed attempt last summer. They are ‘more ambitious’ and will ‘push all the conditions’ to sign Gravenberch after this season.
Ronald Koeman included him in his Oranje squad for last month’s international break and the player could be in contention to represent his national team at the Euros.
It’s claimed Galatasaray will ‘accelerate efforts’ to make progress and secure a deal before the European championship kickstarts in June.
On Wednesday, the same outlet explained Galatasaray will hold meetings with Manchester United and Christian Eriksen’s agent in the coming days over a deal for the Dane.
Their latest report claims Galatasaray are now focusing on the Liverpool player. It feels like they are looking at the Premier League to bolster their midfield, after signing Tanguy Ndombele on loan from Tottenham Hotspur last summer.
