The Longhorns’ first-ever SEC meeting with Oklahoma has generated immense excitement, especially among students.“We’ve been waiting all semester for this,” said Kendall Klimek. “It’s time to take on OU!”
Ainsley Stutes described the experience as “surreal,” noting that attending the top-ranked team’s games has exceeded expectations.To pump up the team, students held a traditional rally at the UT Tower, complete with a parade down Guadalupe Street.
The Texas Fight Rally, a 108-year-old tradition, drew thousands of students cheering on the Longhorns.Sydney Stewart described the atmosphere as “crazy,” with fans passing out and water being thrown everywhere.
