At Timp Haven/Sundance, Junior directed a groundbreaking ski training program involving eight city recreation organizations and eight city high schools. Later, as Director of Skiing at Snowbird (1970), he developed targeted training and marketing programs for senior citizens, recognizing the demographic’s growing interest in skiing.
Junior’s passion for skiing led him to participate in various national organizations. He served in the Ski Patrol (1944-1958), obtained National Forest Service Ski Instructor Certification (1948), and contributed to the NSA Certification Committee (1952, 1956-1958).
