Shiffrin’s successful on-snow test at Beaver Creek marked a crucial milestone in her rehabilitation journey. The 29-year-old skier had been sidelined for several weeks, missing valuable World Cup racing time. Her goal of achieving 100 career World Cup wins was put on hold, but Shiffrin’s determination and resilience have remained unwavering.
The Killington crash was a severe setback for Shiffrin, who suffered a seven-centimeter-deep wound to her abdomen.
