“A day that I’ll never forget giving the @USCAnnenberg commencement speech for the Class of ’26,” Vonn posted afterward. “Here’s a little snippet from my speech…”
“Step into your own gate. Dare to dream. Even when it’s hard. Even when the outcome is uncertain. Even when people think you’re crazy for trying,” she said. “Jump. Because the only real failure in this life is not trying.”
Vonn, a decorated alpine skier with 82 World Cup victories and multiple Olympic medals, encouraged the graduates to pursue their own “summit,” emphasizing that true regret comes from inaction rather than failure.
