Olympic skiing legend Lindsey Vonn is proving once again that the gym is her true north—even while recovering from knee surgery following a crash at the 2026 Winter Olympics.
The American alpine star recently posted a carousel of training clips and photos on Instagram, showing she’s staying consistent no matter how much she’s traveling. “Been on the move a lot lately, but that doesn’t mean I stopped training,” she wrote, sharing shots of herself working through kneeling hip flexor stretches, barbell squats, and deep low lunge stretches, with her dog tagging along for the ride.
Her message cut deeper than just fitness: “No matter where I am, making time to train helps keep me grounded… and I’m thankful I can do that now. The road gives me adventure, and the gym gives me energy. Life is a balance that I work on every day.”
This isn’t a one-off. Back in mid-June, Vonn lit up social media with pure joy after getting back under the iron. “The face I make when I can actually work out in the gym! Makes me so happy and excited I can’t even put it into words!” she posted, capturing herself crushing crash pad rebound jumps, rear-foot elevated split squats, heel-elevated slant board squats with a ball squeeze, and pull-ups.
Even while healing, the two-time world champion is treating training like non-negotiable therapy. For Vonn, the weights aren’t just about rebuilding strength—they’re the daily ritual that keeps her centered after another brutal chapter in a career defined by resilience.
Adventure on the road. Energy in the gym. Balance every single day. Classic Lindsey.
