The Lindsey Vonn Foundation marked another major milestone this weekend, celebrating 11 years of impact with a successful fundraising gala that brought together mentors, volunteers, sponsors, and donors in support of young women.
Held on August 21, 2026, at the Grand Hyatt Deer Valley in Park City, Utah, the Modern West-themed event blended sophisticated western style with an evening of live music, craft cocktails, elevated dining, and both live and silent auctions. The gathering continued the foundation’s tradition of high-energy annual fundraisers while advancing its core mission: empowering girls from underserved communities through scholarships and transformative #STRONGgirls programs.
In a post-event message, the foundation expressed deep gratitude to everyone who attended and contributed. “11 years of the Lindsey Vonn Foundation and another incredible fundraising gala in the books! Thank you to everyone who came out to support these incredible young women,” the organization shared. “The more successful we are, the more young women we can help!”
Special recognition went to the LVF mentors who participated, the dedicated volunteers who helped make the night run smoothly, and the sponsors and donors whose generosity powers the foundation’s work. “We couldn’t do it without you,” the message emphasized.
Since its founding, the Lindsey Vonn Foundation has focused on giving girls the tools, confidence, and opportunities to pursue their passions. Its scholarship program awards up to $5,000 twice a year to 10- to 18-year-olds who demonstrate grit and determination but lack the financial resources to access sports or enrichment activities. To date, the program has distributed more than $1 million. The popular #STRONGgirls camps further build resilience, leadership, and self-belief through immersive experiences.
The 2026 gala builds directly on last year’s landmark 10th-anniversary “Decade of Disco” celebration, signaling the start of the foundation’s second decade of service. Organizers noted that greater success at events like this directly expands the number of young women who can be reached through scholarships, mentorship, and camps.
As the foundation looks ahead, the message from the gala remains clear: continued community support translates into more opportunities for the next generation of strong, determined young women.
