Lindsey Vonn just reminded the world why her bond with her Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Chance hits different.
In a simple, raw caption that’s already spreading fast, the Olympic legend wrote: “Chance makes life better ….so happy and thankful to have him on the road with me.”
That’s it. No long speech. No polished PR. Just a woman who has been through hell this year — a career-ending Olympic crash, multiple surgeries, the heartbreaking loss of her beloved Leo the day after the accident — openly saying her remaining pup is the thing making the hard days livable.
Chance isn’t just a pet. He’s the constant. The one who was there when she finally got home from the hospital and broke down. The one she took outside for the first time in over a month on an electric scooter. The little guy now traveling with her as she slowly rebuilds her life away from the starting gate.
Vonn adopted Chance in August 2025 after losing Lucy. He arrived at a moment when she wasn’t sure she was ready for another dog. Now he’s the one making hotel rooms feel like home and long recovery days feel a little less lonely.
