Conor Bradley continues rise to stardom by bagging first Liverpool goal in stunning scenes against Chelsea

Conor Bradley continued his rise from an academy prospect to a first-team star with a sublime first goal for Liverpool.

The 20-year-old right back only made his professional debut on November 30, but now looks like a seasoned professional in a run of six straight games.
Adding to his tally of three assists, the Northern Irishman now has a goal too, brilliantly making it 2-0 at home to Chelsea in the Premier League.

Collecting a Luis Diaz pass just inside the Chelsea half, the youngster carried the ball all the way into the area before unleashing a shot past Dorde Petrovic and into the far corner.

Reeling off in celebration, the chant of ‘There’s only one Conor Bradley’ began belting out around Anfield.
Diogo Jota opened the scoring as he bulldozed his way through the Chelsea defence before slotting home with his left foot in a first half which saw Darwin Nunez miss a penalty.

The away team posed little threat, though, not only being pinned back by Bradley on the right flank, but also struggling to find away past him heading in the other direction.

Bradley has been heavily relied upon since vice captain Trent Alexander-Arnold picked up a knee ligament injury on January 7.

So far the academy graduate hasn’t looked out of place for a moment, and he’s impressed manager Jurgen Klopp.
“Exceptional, what a boy, what fantastic character and the potential,” the German said.

“He is in the right team, everyone loves him and respects him and wants him to succeed.”
