The manager of “Liverpool” gave the current status of the team after losing 4-1 to “Chelsea”.

Jurgen Klopp played down concerns that Alexis McAllister limped off with a knee injury late in Liverpool’s 4-1 win over Chelsea at Anfield on Wednesday night. The Argentine, who was rested for Sunday’s FA Cup win over Norwich City, returned to the starting line-up and played the full 90 minutes as United restored their lead to five points at the top of the Premier League thanks to a Diogo Jota’s goal. . . ,

Connor Bradley, Dominic Szoboslay, Luis Diaz. But towards the end of the game Mc Allister fell ill on the Anfield pitch after colliding with Chelsea substitute Cesare Casaday and limped off the pitch under the care of Liverpool physio Chris Morgan. However, Klopp was unable to take off United’s number 10 shirt as he made all five changes. That meant Mac Allister made a cautious return to help his side record a famous victory.

In his post-match press conference at Anfield, the Liverpool manager addressed the injury news, saying McAllister has not suffered a serious injury and will be fit to face Arsenal when Liverpool travel to the Emirates Stadium on Sunday.Klopp said: “Maka (Mac Allister) is down on his knees. It’s not serious. At least nobody has told me yet.”

“It’s okay, we all need that. It’s not a sentence, it’s just that. I’m happy for them. They all did well as they did. The next big game is at Arsenal. So let’s go again when we feel better.”
