According to Spanish sources on Saturday, Barcelona winger Raphinha’s hamstring injury might keep him out for up to a month.
The Brazilian suffered a hamstring injury in the 1-0 victory over Sevilla on Friday that returned Barcelona to the top of La Liga, the Catalan club said in a statement.
In the first half, Raphinha, who was playing attacking midfield, was replaced by Fermin Lopez after picking up an injury.
The winger will miss Wednesday’s Champions League match against Porto and the October 8 La Liga match against Granada in order to recover in time for the Clasico on October 28.
The 26-year-old was dismissed against Getafe in the season opener, and he had just recently gained his spot back due to the emergence of prodigy Lamine Yamal and Ferran Torres’ better play.
Pedri and Frenkie de Jong are presently sidelined with injuries for Barcelona.
