The Packers played San Francisco last Saturday night and dominated most of the game. As ESPN’s Rob Gronkowski pointed out, Green Bay made a crucial mistake in the final two minutes and threw the ball away to win.
That included Anders Karlsson’s missed field goal and Jordan Love’s missed pass in the final seconds of the game. The loss to the Packers paved the way for San Francisco to reach the NFL playoffs. The team will also focus on signing free agents or finding new talent through the 2024 NFL Draft to improve the roster for next season.
The Green Bay Packers went through a lot last season. Watson sums up that feeling and explains it in a way that everyone can understand. Speaking to the media, Watson said that the ending was difficult for them.
He said when he looks back and assesses where they’ve been and where they are now, he has a lot to be thankful for. Watson went on to say that the team entered the offseason with the right mindset and expectations about the future of its members.And that quarterback Elgton Jenkins boldly declared that Green Bay will win the entire season next season.
He added that the team will improve aggressively and trust the process.The Packers enter the season with multiple free agent targets and eight picks in April’s NFL draft. Either way, the next few months are expected to be busy for Green Bay.
