Jurgen Klopp has shocked the football world by announcing that he will be leaving Liverpool at the end of this season.

Having won six major trophies with the Reds, including the 2019/20 Premier League title and the 2018/19 Champions League title, Klopp will undoubtedly go down as Liverpool’s greatest player of all time. The German took charge at Anfield when Liverpool were left without a title in 2015.
He has taken the club to the top of world football and is set to take on a huge responsibility when he leaves the role this summer. With Liverpool five points adrift at the top of the Premier League, Klopp will be keen to end his reign on a high, but must now begin the on-stage search to decide on a replacement manager.
Steven Gerrard has long been tipped as Klopp’s successor, but the former Liverpool captain’s career has stalled and he recently signed a contract extension with Saudi Arabian side Al Ettifaq. However, Gerrard remains one of the bookies’ favorites to manage Klopp, alongside big names in the sport such as Xabi Alonso, Julian Nagelsmann and Jose Mourinho.
