The Green Bay Packers have exceeded all expectations this season.
The campaign was a bit of a roller coaster for them, alternating between impressive trips at surprising costs. Of course, a lot of that had to do with injuries and inexperience, but they still righted the ship and ended the season with a playoff berth.
There, they upset the Dallas Cowboys on the road and dominated from start to finish. They also dropped the ball after beating the San Francisco 49ers in overtime at Levi’s Stadium, so it’s hard to be mad at them after the loss.
So Aaron Jones wanted to inform the rest of the league and warn them about this team for the upcoming campaign and the next few years (via Around the NFL).”I think we will be in danger. We’re going to be special,” Jones said. Having Jones on the court will be important for Matt LaFleur’s team.
Needless to say, the loyal fighter finished the season very strong despite being banned and sidelined due to various ailments.Jones led the Cowboys to three touchdowns against the San Francisco 49ers and became the first player to rush for more than 100 yards since Week 8 of the 2021 season and the first player to rush for 90 yards this season.
The Packers were the youngest team to make the playoffs in 40 years, which may be the most encouraging thing about the team.
