The entire football world knows Jurgen Klopp will leave Liverpool at the end of the season, with several top European clubs already planning moves.
The Germany manager announced on Friday that he will step down from his role at Anfield as he runs out of energy, telling a news conference that he will take a year off before deciding what to do next. Klopp also said he would not manage another English club and, with his links with Borussia Dortmund now over, both competitions could be ruled out for what the 56-year-old will do next.Italian side Roma are keen to capitalize on this and according to Il Messaggero, the Serie A side are keen to bring Klopp to the capital in the future.
Roma sacked Jose Mourinho earlier this month after a Serie A crisis saw the legendary manager temporarily replaced by club legend Daniele De Rossi. The Italian side are unlikely to convince Klopp to join their club, with the Liverpool boss expected to take charge of Germany ahead of the 2026 World Cup.
That is the most likely route for the 56-year-old, but it would not be to the German manager’s liking at this stage as Klopp still needs to get him done at Anfield.
