The Reds are in the market for a wide attacker amid uncertainties surrounding the future of Mohamed Salah. But they have reservations about the 23-year-old Wolverhampton Wanderers attacker due to his recent injuries. Meanwhile, he is also a target for Arsenal.

Pedro Neto has established himself as one of the best young attackers in the Premier League in the last half a decade. The Portuguese international joined Wolverhampton Wanderers from Lazio in August 2019 and has come leaps and bounds since then. While a few injuries have threatened to hamper his progress, he has remained a pivotal figure for the Black Country club.
The 23-year-old has enjoyed an excellent 2023/24 campaign despite suffering a hamstring injury. The player has contributed to 14 goals in 22 appearances thus far this term, finding the back of the net thrice while providing 11 assists. Meanwhile, Neto’s progress has not gone unnoticed, capturing the attention of several high-profile clubs, including Arsenal and Liverpool.

Arsenal’s interest in Pedro Neto is understandable. Mikel Arteta is an advocate of having two top-class options for every position. The Spaniard has been keen on adding to the competition for Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli, even though they are the cornerstones of his team.
