Lindsey Vonn does not do quiet recoveries. Just six months after a horror crash at the 2026 Milano Cortina Olympics that nearly cost her a leg, the skiing icon is back on the water — shredded, smiling, and serving main-character energy in a red bikini.
In photos shared to Instagram this week, Vonn is seen stand-up paddleboarding during a sunny vacation getaway. Hair pulled back, paddle in hand, abs on full display — the three-time Olympic medalist looks stronger than ever as she glides across the water.
The same left leg that was shattered in a complex tibia fracture, the same body that endured compartment syndrome, multiple surgeries, and weeks in a wheelchair, is now powering her through an active seaside trip. Fans are losing it in the comments: “This is not real.” “How is she already this fit?” “Absolute superhuman.”
Vonn captioned the post simply: “Been on the move… ☀️💛💃🏼🙏🏻”
After nearly losing her leg in February, progressing from wheelchair to crutches to weighted squats, the 41-year-old continues to rewrite what recovery looks like. No pity party. No slowing down. Just pure Vonn — resilient, radiant, and still very much in the game.
The mountains tried to take her out. She’s out here paddleboarding instead.
