Sergio Aguero, a former striker for Argentina, believes Manchester United will push Manchester City for the Premier League championship.
Out of the 25 games played thus far this season, United has suffered 12 losses.
With 28 points from 17 games, Erik ten Hag’s team is in seventh place, 11 points behind league leaders Arsenal.
Aguero called United the “biggest threats” to City and said they were title challengers despite their bad run of play.
“At this point in the season, you can never take Man United for granted. They pose a serious danger to Man City’s chances of winning the Premier League.
Additionally, I believe Tottenham, who have greatly improved under Ange Postecoglou, is a title candidate.
“Despite their ups and downs, Newcastle is also a contender for the title because they never give up,” Aguero said to Stake.
